Tell Your Problem About God
Updated: Jan 11
But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. Job 12:13
I learned a very valuable strategy during the second half of my season. Talking to my problem.
We are always telling God our problems. But God already knows what we are going through. We need to start telling our problem about God.
Tell of God’s wisdom and power. His good judgment, advice, guidance, support, strength.
Job 9:4 tells us: For God is so wise and so mighty. Who has ever challenged him successfully? In simple words – Do not challenge or test God. God does not break and run from anyone or anything. His wisdom and strength are unmatched.
Imagine that conversation:
Problem: I’m bringing storm clouds your way.
Me: In the past your storms would bring me stress and worry. Not anymore.
Problem: You are going to have difficult days ahead. There will be tears.
Me: Okay send the storm. My Father will calm the sea and collect my tears in His bottle.
Problem: But the storms I am sending are massive.
Me: Send your storms. They will pass over. My Father does not break and run. He already knows what is coming because You can’t send anything my way without Him. He is all knowing and all powerful. He has counsel and understanding. He strengthens me when I am weak and builds me up when I am torn down. He provides me with guidance and gives me good judgment to handle anything that comes my way.
Tell your problem about God. And watch God deal with it.
Declaration: Declare today, I will tell any and all problems about the power of God.
Action: Study God’s Word. Meditate on 2 Corinthians 4:8-9.
Prayer: Lord, I may have troubles, but I am not crushed. I may be confused but I will not lose hope. I may be harassed, but not abandoned by God. I may get knocked down, but I am not destroyed. I stand on the true wisdom and power I have in God. In Jesus Name. Amen
