Promise of God: He Will Help You
Updated: Jan 11, 2021
Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:5
This is both an Action and Promise scripture. Commitment brings reward. Be obedient and God will do as He promises.
It is difficult to release and let go. Human nature leads us to want to be in control of all things. We tend to think we know what’s best and can do what’s best. This leads us to have knee-jerk reactions and make poor decisions.
Committing everything to God, our ways and our work, is an act of obedience. That act of obedience is rewarded with God’s Promises to act and establish plans for us.
Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3
Commit ALL THINGS – life, family, job, health, finances, education, service, etc. to God. Live your life as a representative of Christ; nurture your family with the Word of God; perform your job responsibilities as if working for Christ; care for your body and mind as the temple it is for the Holy Spirit; tithe and work faithfully for the advancement of God’s Kingdom; educate yourself in God’s Word; serve your fellow man with acts of kindness.
Commit everything – Trust Him – Receive His blessings.
Declaration: Declare today, I commit all things in my life to God. I trust Him completely.
Action: Study God’s Word. Trust in God completely. Meditate on Psalm 37 He Will Not Forsake His Saints (ESV).
Prayer: Lord, I stand on Your promise to help me. I trust You with everything in my life. I release and let go. Have Your way Lord in all areas of my life – family, job, health, finances, worship. I submit all to Your control and guidance. In Jesus Name. Amen
