Power of a 6-letter Word

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. Mark 11:24

I am fascinated with this 6-letter word that carries so much power. PRAYER

To understand the power of PRAYER. We must understand the meaning of transformation.

Transformation: an act, process, or instance of transforming or being transformed

We need to understand transformation because we can bend our knee to our Father in prayer and by the time, we rise the transformation has begun and, in some instances completed.

Weakness to strength

I bend my knee to my Father in weakness.

I rise in strength because I know my Father will meet me at my point of weakness and make me strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10: That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I rise empowered by His promise. Isaiah 40:31: But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Lost but found

I bend my knee to my Father seeking that connection. Jeremiah 29:13: If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

I rise rejoicing because I have made the connection. Jeremiah 29:14 – I will be found by you, declares the Lord.

Warrior for God

I bend my knee to my Father to defend Him against those who work against His Kingdom Ephesians 6:12: For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

I rise rejoicing because I have been handed the tools needed to defeat the enemy. Matthew 16:19: And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.

I rise rejoicing because I am clothed, armed and ready. Ephesians 6:11: Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Cleansed of Sins

I bend my knee to my Father in sickness from sin 1 John 1:9: But, if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all wickedness.

I rise cleansed of all thoughts, acts, iniquities, unclean spirits. Mark 9:29: Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer.

United-One Church

I bend my knee to my Father in unity with my fellow Sisters and Brothers. 1 Corinthians 12:27: All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

I rise in glory for the body of Christ is the Church. And the Church is a House of Prayer for all nations. Isaiah 56:7: for my house shall

be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

Utilize the power of Prayer. Pray in faith, pray with belief in your heart. Know before you even pray that your prayer has been answered.

Declaration: Declare today, Prayer is a powerful daily discipline in my life.

Action: Study God’s Word. Meditate on scriptures on prayer.

Prayer: Lord thank You for the power of Prayer. Prayer is transforming, cleansing, uniting. I stand on faith that whatever I ask for I have received. I receive it as You would give to me – in Your way, in Your timing, for Your purpose. Your Will be done. In Jesus Name. Amen
