Let God Carry You

Praise the LORD; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Psalm 68:19

As I study on this scripture - I close my eyes and visualize when I was a child: I have fallen, I look up and my father is standing there, arms extended. As with my earthly father, my heavenly Father is waiting, arms extended, to lift me and carry me.

Life can be frustrating, tiring, draining, exhausting. It affects all areas of wellness: social, emotional, mental, financial, physical, spiritual, environmental, occupational. It releases a tidal wave of emotions.

We try to be so many things for so many people in so many ways - it's exhausting. We try to do so many things for so many people in so many ways - it is draining.

So, when life presses in - we need to press in - into our Father. Scripture tells us to go to Him - Matthew 11:28 - Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Run to our Father and let Him carry you. Close your eyes and climb into His waiting arms.

Declaration: Declare today, that God is my source of rest, renewal, refreshing, restoration, recovery, healing.

Action: Study God's Word. Meditate on scriptures on rest, renewal, restoration, healing.

Prayer: LORD, thank You for catching me when I stumble, picking me up when I fall and carrying me when I cannot take another step. Father, You are my deliverer, my redeemer, my strength and salvation. In You I seek rest and restoration. In Jesus Name. Amen
