Always There

My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. Psalm 62:7

When I think of God as my rock and my refuge, I think of the ultimate safe room built on an indestructible foundation. It is a permanent room of safety and peace. There is nothing that can destroy the foundation and there is nothing that can penetrate the door and walls to bring me harm. I am protected.

Psalm 46:1 tells us that God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Study on that! He is not just ready – but always ready – always there and always ready.

Always there. Always ready.

I close my eyes and I see Your face.

I open my ears and I hear Your voice.

I sniff and I smell the sweet aroma of Your grace and mercy.

I lift my hand and feel the power of Your mighty touch.

I give You my heart and feel Your love.

I sit at Your feet and feel joy in Your presence.

Always there. Always ready.

Declaration: Declare today, I give God all honor and praise. He is the foundation on which my faith is built. He is always there and always present in my life. Action: Study God’s Word. Meditate on Psalm 46-God Is Our Fortress (ESV). Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my ever-present help in times of trouble. Lord You are my rock. I come to You on bended knee with thankfulness in my heart. You alone are my ultimate safe room. Your love overflows to me in so many ways. You are always present, always here, always comforting, always near. In Jesus Name. Amen
